Alfred L. Persia, age 91, formerly of Holley, died 9/22/07 in Presbyterian Hospital - Charlotte, NC following a long illness. He was born January 29, 1916 in Holley to Thomas and Palma(Zaccagnini)Persia and lived most of his life in this area. For over 40 years, Mr. Persia was a barber in Holley having truly found his niche in life with that profession. Alfred was a long-time member of St. Jude R.C. Church in Gates, loved to garden and was extremely family oriented.
