Obituary of Allen W. Ecker (MORTON)
Allen W. Ecker, age 88, died 4/11/2017 in The Villages of Orleans following a brief illness. He was born 4/18/1928 in Dover, NJ to Augustus and Alice(Parkins)Wisner and had lived in this area most of his life. Allen was a very social person who enjoyed dancing and music. He was an exceptional artist specializing in drawings but also enjoyed collecting baseball cards, stamps, and coins. Mr. Ecker was predeceased by his wife Loretta and 6 brothers. He is survived by his sons: Barry Ecker of Morton, Robert Putnam of Hamlin, Dave Putnam of Buffalo, James Leach of Rochester, John Leach of Leicester as well as several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. There will be no prior calling hours. Allen’s services will be at the convenience of the family and will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to a Fire Department, Ambulance Fund, or charity of your choice.
