(Lockport) Alura J. Fulciniti, age 88, died October 18, 2024 in the Lockport Rehab and Health Care Center. She was born May 10, 1936 in Cherokee, Iowa to Nathan and Erma (Burden) Banister and had lived in this area since the 60’s.
Alura, joined the United States Army at the age of 18, where she served during the time of the Korean War and served her duty in Germany. She was a member of the Community Fellowship Church in Johnson Creek, worked as a secretary for many years and enjoyed doing yardwork and gardening.
Mrs. Fulciniti was predeceased by her husband Joe Fulciniti and her sister Marian Morris.
She is survived by two sons: Patrick Anderson of Holley, Leroy Lovitt of FL, 2 brothers: Dwight Banister of Holley, Paul (Trina) Banister of Albion, her grandson: Samuel Lovitt of FL, 5 nephews, 3 great nephews and 1 great niece.
There will be no calling hours. Alura’s Memorial Service will be Saturday November 9th at 1:00pm at the Community Fellowship Church, 3144 Johnson Creek Rd. (Off of Rte. 104). In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity or organization of your choice.
Alura’s arrangements have been entrusted to the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Home of Holley.
