Obituary of Angeline M. Boyce Middleport: Angeline Boyce, age 89, died July 25, 2018. Angie was born in Medina October 16, 1928 to Raffaele and Maria (DiBeneditti) Castricone. She graduated from Medina High School in June 1946. She married the late John L. Boyce on September 8, 1951 and together they made their home in Medina before moving to Lyndonville in the 1960’s. Angie owned a little grocery store in Yates called “Angie’s Grocery,” which made her well known to the community. She loved going out to eat, playing BINGO, planting her flowers, making homemade spaghetti and meatballs, and being with her family. Her sense of humor was loved by all who knew her and she had a talent for stealing pizzelles. She is survived by her daughter Jackie Gollus of Middleport, her sons: Johnny (Debbie) Boyce of Virginia Beach, VA, and Jeff (Glennda) Boyce of Elba, NY. She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren, David (Jenn) Gollus of Boston, NY, Elisabeth (PJ) Allen of Lockport, Stephanie Pagano of Virginia Beach, VA, and Jonathan and Brandon Boyce of Elba. Angie is also survived by several great-grandchildren: Brooke, Braden, Kendall, Emily, Max, and Grace. Angie was the second youngest, but last surviving sibling of Dominic, Louis, Jesse, Anthony, Vincent, Peter, Amelia, Viola, Carmella, and Mary Jane. She was very proud of her big Italian family and is survived by many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday October 20th at 11 a.m. in Holy Trinity Parish-St. Mary's Church-Medina. Private interment will be held in St. Mary's Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
