Angeline A. Babe Monacelli

Obituary of Angeline A. Babe Monacelli Angeline "Babe" Monacelli age 94, died January 30 at home following a long struggle with Parkinson's disease. She was born July 9, 1917 in Albion to Henry and Martha D'Orazio and was predeceased by five siblings. She was the "baby" of the family, hence the nickname "Babe". She graduated from Albion High School in 1936 and worked at Harrison Radiator in Lockport during WW II. She also worked at Hickey Freeman Clothing Company in Albion, sold Avon products, and worked as an election inspector for Orleans County. "Babe" married Louis Monacelli on August 24, 1946 and was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Outside of her children and grandchildren, her home was her pride and joy. She took great pleasure in tending to it and looking after her children and grandchildren. She was a lifelong member of Holy Family Parish-St. Joseph's Church.
