Anthony Wayne Giambrone Sr.

Anthony W. “Tony” Giambrone, Sr. of Kendall, formerly of Irondequoit, passed away December 11, 2024. He was born April 6, 1947 in Rochester to the late Anthony and Anne (Palermo) Giambrone.

Tony worked most recently as a driver for General Motors in Rochester before he retired after 30 years. He was a big Montreal Canadiens and L.A. Rams fan and occasionally betting on horse races. In his spare time Tony enjoyed fishing, picnics, riding his Harley and of course time with his family.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his son Troy, brother Eric and nephew Eric Jr.

Tony is survived by his wife of over 40 years, Lydia, children Anthony (Amy Appoloney) Giambrone, Jr., Jennifer Meyer, granddaughter Alex Riorden, granddog, Jasper, and goddaughter Erica Giambrone.

There will be a celebration of Tony’s life announced at a later date.

Memorial contributions in Tony’s name may be made to Hospice of Orleans.

Tony’s arrangements have been entrusted to the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Home of Holley, NY.
