Obituary of Anthony Shawn Gray (Canandaigua/Albion) Anthony Shawn “Tony” Gray, one of God’s greatest creations, was called home on December 19, 2020 at the age of 50. Anthony was born in Albion January 21, 1970. He is now reunited with his loving grandmother, father, uncles and best friend Craig Tensley. Tony graduated from Albion High School in 1989. To know Anthony was to love him. His love for family and friends was contagious. Family first was his favorite saying and his faith in GOD was tremendous. He loved spending time with his best friend of all; his mother, and children and grandchildren. In his free time he loved to play cards, golf, fish, watch basketball and cheer on his favorite team, The Buffalo Bills and make bets with his cousin Chris. He had worked as a Respiratory Therapist at Newark-Wayne Community Hospital and Geneva General Hospital. Anthony was known as the helper and problem solver and if you needed him all you had to do was call him. He is survived by his parents Benny Mae and Steve Lynch; Godparents Patricia (Bradley) Ballish; his children Gyle “Petey” Gray, Shinera “Baby Girl” Crockton, Jerraid Crockton, Julius (Chrissy) Scott and their mother Deborah Gray; grandchildren Ashton, Jordan, Avery, Owen, Aidan, Evan; siblings Caprica Little, Lyle Lynch, Lorna Lynch, Steve Trotman, Brian Reak, Fred Blakely, Sarah Johnson; his soulmate Natasha Smith and her children Olivia, Piper, Monte; his uncle Otis (Barb Smith) Floyd; cousins Christopher Donahue, Andrea Lewis, Alphonse Owens, Jonathan Lewis; his soldiers of best friends, Chris, Leandrew, Gordon, Eric, Eddie, Lamont, Lance, Joe, Julieta and Porfirio as well as many great coworkers at the hospitals. The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 21 W. Ave. Monday December 28th from 11:00am-12:00pm. His Funeral Service will be held privately with immediate family.
