Obituary of Arthur Edward Pritchard Born June 2, 1941 in Lockport, Art is the son of the late: Arthur Edward and Katherine (Chase) Pritchard. Arthur worked at General Motors in Lockport as a Tinsmith retiring in 1996. He enjoyed his horse Arthur, reading, camping, country music, fishing and watching the Little League World Series. Art served his country in the US Navy from 1958 until 1967 achieving the rank of Shipfitter 2nd Class Petty Officer. He was a member of the VFW Post 15034 in North Carolina. He was previously a member of the Lockport Jaycees. Surviving Art is his children: Kelly (Brian) Hartmann, James (Louisa) Pritchard, Kimberly (Sam) Mattina, Yvonne Pritchard, Julie (Ron Kenyon) Wood, Michael (Brenda McGee) Pritchard and Jeffrey Wood. Grandfather of: 19 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Brother of: Dorothy Ludemann and Thomas Pritchard. Art is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received at the Kenneth H. Sherrie Funeral Home, 6139 East Avenue, Newfane, NY on Tuesday, September 12, 2017 between 6-8 pm.
