Obituary of Audrey J. Jacobs Audrey J. Jacobs of Middleport died peacefully December 30, 2012 at the Briody Healthcare Facility with her loving family by her side. Mrs. Jacobs was born in Lockport, NY on October 14, 1933 daughter of the late Harold and Evelyn (Meyers) Sy. Mrs. Jacobs was a homemaker who has lived in Middleport since l993 before that she had resided in Gasport. She enjoyed her family, corcheting, knitting and watching her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband Rowland H. Jacobs, three sons James (Maryellen) Jacobs of Middleport, Jeff (Darcy) Jacobs of Newfane and Gerald "Jake" (Roxanne) Jacobs of Middleport, four grandchildren Christopher Jacobs, Brianna Jacobs, Ciara Jacobs and Andrew Jacobs all of Middleport and one great grandson Logan. Also surviving is a sister Nancy (Norm) Zobel of Amherst and a brother Roland (Nancy) Sy of Lockport. Friends may all Wednesday from 4 PM to 7 PM at the Bates, Wallace & Heath Funeral Home, 38 State St., Middleport where a Memorial Service will be held Thursday at 11:00 AM.
