Obituary of Barbara Jane Macaulay Barbara Jane Macaulay (Breeze) age 67, of Medina, entered into rest on Saturday, December 24, 2011 at Medina Memorial Hospital. Born June 2, 1944 in Albion, she was the daughter of the late Merle and Marjorie (Smith) Breeze. Barbara was a 1964 graduate of Wilson High School. She married Douglas J. Macaulay October 15, 1966 in Royalton. He predeceased her July 17, 2009. A seamstress, Barbara had worked at Peters Dry Cleaners in Lockport during the 1980’s. She enjoyed painting, quilting, crocheting, jewelry making and bingo. Barb displayed her paintings at Ms. Barb’s Studio in Lockport. She also enjoyed camping at the Niagara County Campgrounds. Barb had lived in Medina the past 3 years, previously of Lockport and Barker. She is survived by her children: John M. (Jennie) Macaulay of Chambersburg, PA, Douglas R. Macaulay of North Tonawanda, James B. (Linda) Macaulay of Landisville, PA, and Veronica J. (Al Reynolds) Natale of Toronto, Ontario. Sister of: Shirley (Dave) Gracie of Ontario, Richard (Linda) Breeze of Gasport, Jim (Cindy) Breeze of Gasport, Robin Breeze of Lockport, Larry (Carol) Zeitz of Lockport, Douglas (Sherrie) Zeitz of Youngstown and Ben Zeitz of Niagara Falls. 7 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and several nieces and nephews also survive her. Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service at Zion Lutheran Church, 4447 Central Avenue, Gasport, NY on Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at 1:00 pm. Reverend Rod Klinzing will officiate. Inurnment will be in Hartland Central Cemetery, Gasport. There will be no prior visitation. Arrangements entrusted to the Sherrie-Bream Funeral Home, Gasport, NY.
