Obituary of Barbara Panek (Albion) Barb Panek age 77 died June 2, 2013 at Strong Memorial Hospital. She was born December 11, 1935 in West Barre, a daughter of the late Ernest and Helen (Miles) Shuler and had lived in this area all of her life. Barb loved baking and received great satisfaction out of sharing what she baked with her family and friends. She was predeceased by her sister Beverly Mufford. She is survived by her loving husband John of 58 years; her sons Peter (Lorijean) Panek of Albion, James (Kerry) Panek of Albion, Todd (Gary Will) Panek of MA; 8 grandchildren Shaun (Michele) Panek, Christopher (Kim) Panek Alan (Guinevere) Panek, Kathryn (Ryan) Klotzbach, Matthew (Jessica) Panek, Philip Panek, Kristin Will, Cory Will; 5 great-grandchildren; her brother William (Mary) Shuler of Albion and several nieces, nephews and cousins. There are no prior calling hours. A Celebration of Barb's life will be held Saturday June 8th at 11:00am at the West Barre United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice or please bake a batch of cookies and share them with family and friends or plant a rose bush in honor of Barb. Visitation
