Barbara N. Sargent

(Albion) Barbara N. Sargent, age 82, passed away June 2, 2022 at Rochester General Hospital. She was born August 19, 1939 in Albion, a daughter of the late William and Viola (Pahuta) Nenni and had lived in this area all of her life.

Barb loved baking, going to the beach and spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, William, Sr.; her children William (Darlene) Sargent, Jr., Susan Proietty, Scott (Alicia) Sargent, Todd (Sharon) Sargent, and Christopher (Julie) Sargent; grandchildren Lindsay Monacelli, Brandon Sargent, Stephanie Hirsch, Zachery Sargent, Shelby Sargent, Mark Proietty, Michael Sargent, Keira Sargent, Sienna Sargent, Ariel Pontillo, and Mackenzie Luft; great-grandchildren Grayson, Landon, Aleah, Chazz, Oliver, Palmer, and Adelaide; best friend Linda Joseph; brothers-in-law Carl Sargent, Bob (Pat) Fox, Loren Johnson, as well as several nieces and nephews.

There are no prior calling hours.  Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday June 7th at 9:30am at Holy Family Parish/St. Joseph’s Church, 106 South Main St. Albion NY.  Burial will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Pl, Memphis, TN 38105.  Arrangements have been entrusted to the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. Albion.
