Obituary of Barbara J. Wrobel Barbara J. Wrobel, age 86 of Gasport, entered into rest on Monday, August 29, 2016 at Odd Fellow & Rebekah Health Care Facility. Born July 31, 1930 in Buffalo, Barbara is the daughter of the late Everett and Gladys (Potts) Jepson.
Barb married Leo Wrobel March 31, 1950 at the First Presbyterian Church in Lockport. Mr. Wrobel died March 27, 1998. Barbara worked for Bell Telephone Company for over 30 years. She was a member of the Pioneer's Club at the telephone company and enjoyed knitting, the Buffalo Bills, and all animals including her favorite dog, Sami.
Surviving Barbara her grandchildren: Michelle Hill and Gabrielle Hill; great grandchildren: Audrianna Kane and Rodney Borden III; and a son-in-law: Duane "Dewey" Hill. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her daughters: Sandi Hill and Debbie Wrobel.
Family and friends are invited to attend visitation on Friday from 10- 11 am from the Bates, Wallace and Heath Funeral Home, 38 State Street, Middleport, NY 14105. Funeral Services will be held immediately following at 11:00 am with burial following at Hartland Central Cemetery, Gasport, NY.
