Obituary of Beatrice Zarpentine Beatrice Zarpentine age 94, died November 9, 2012. She was born March 14, 1918 in Kendall a daughter of the late Warren & Gertrude (Batt) Hart. She had lived in this area all her life and was a member of the Eagle Harbor United Methodist Church, long time Treasurer of the United Methodist Women and former Sunday School Teacher. Beatrice graduated June 13, 1939 from the State Normal School at Brockport with a Provisional Certificate for Teaching and August 13, 1943 from State Teachers College at Buffalo with a Bachelor's Degree of Science in Education. She taught in a one-room School House in Barre Center. Later on, she helped her husband on the farm grading apples and counting tomato hampers. During a bad winter storm, Beatrice and her children were responsible for the farm animals while her husband was plowing snow at Eastman Kodak. Beatrice was well known for her love of baking, especially her cherry, lemon, apple and pumpkin pies served with a special Thanksgiving dinner. An avid reader, she voted in the 2012 Presidential Election.
She was predeceased by her brother, LaVerne Hart; sister, Etta Frisbee. She is survived by her adoring husband, James Everett, of 67 years, 4 months, 2 days; loving daughter, Linda (Charles Jr.) Myers of MD; grandchildren, Charles III, Matthew (Amanda), David (fiance´e, Sarah); loving son, Richard (Peggy Sue) Zarpentine of Nunda; grandchildren, Donald & Kristie Grimble. The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 21 W. Avenue Albion, Tuesday from 6:00-8:00 and Wednesday from 10:00-11:00am Services
Her Funeral Service will be held Wednesday 11:00am at the Funeral Home. Interment
