Benjamin "Frank" Murrell, died December 4, 2024, in Elderwood of Lockport following a long illness. He was born August 30, 1939 to Degraff and Anna Murrell and had lived in this area most of his life.
Frank was a United States Army Veteran having served during the Korean War in the SeaBees. He enjoyed fishing, building things and loved animals. Frank was very mechanically inclined and was considered a Jack-of-all-Trades.
Mr. Murrell was predeceased by his wife Marsha.
He is survived by his children: Douglas (Roselle) Murrell of Appleton, Andrew Murrell of Lockport, Nancy (Edward) Bartoszewski of FL, Michelle Criswell of Lockport, Dawn (Charles) Rickard of Lockport, 10 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.
There will be no calling hours. A Celebration of Frank’s Life will be announced at a later date. Private interment in WNY National Cemetery will be at the convenience of the family. Frank’s arrangements have been entrusted to the Sherrie Bream Funeral Home of Gasport.
