Benjamin C. Shoemaker

Obituary of Benjamin C. Shoemaker (Holley/FL) Benjamin C. Shoemaker age 72 died July 4, 2013 following a short illness at his daughter's home surrounded by his loving family. He was born November 12, 1940 in Rochester, a son of the late Benjamin and Josephine Shoemaker and had lived in this area for most of his life. Benjamin loved gardening and his dog Spitfire. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by the mother of his children Shirley A. Williams; sisters Joan Moriarty and July Scroger. He is survived by his daughters Michelle (Michael) Davis of Holley, Bridget (John) Ryan of Warsaw; grandchildren Benjamin (Erin) Shoemaker of NC, Randy (Joelle) Davis of Hamlin, Eric Davis of Holley, Richard Ryan and Johnna Ryan both of Warsaw; great-grandchildren Cody and Morgan of Hamlin, Tyler of NC; brother George (Marietta) Reiss of Greece; sisters Chris (Charlie) Laws of GA, Loreen (Don) Myers of FL; several nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 16650 W. Albion Rd. (RTE. 31) Holley, Sunday 3-7 followed by his Memorial Service at 7pm. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Orleans. A special thank you from the family to Hospice of Orleans and Evergreen Family Medicine in Brockport for the wonderful care that was given to Benjamin.
