Obituary of Betty Mae Menzel Betty Mae Menzel (Childs),went into rest on August 8, 2016 in Lockport. Born December 14, 1926 she is the beloved daughter of the late: Harold and Carrie (Becker) Childs. Beloved mother of Gary (Toni ) Menzel and Doug (Lynn) Menzel. Wife of the late: Donald Menzel and sister of the late: Dorothy Preston. Also surviving Betty are 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Betty worked at Harrison Radiator in Lockport for many years. She enjoyed spending time with her family. Family and friends are invited to attend visitation at the Bates, Wallace & Heath Funeral Home, 38 State Street, Middleport, NY 14105 on Friday from 3-7 pm. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday from the funeral home at 11:00 am. Burial will be in Royalton Mountain Ridge Cemetery, Gasport, NY.
