Obituary of Betty W. Querns Betty W. Querns of Middleport passed away Thursday, May 3, 2012 at the Medina Memorial Healthcare System.
Mrs. Querns was born in Warsaw, New York on June 16, 1923 daughter of the late Fred and Doris (Aldrich) Walkley.
She and her husband Robert W. Querns were married July 2, 1949 and she has lived in Middleport since l950.
She was a homemaker who enjoyed her family and was a member of the Middleport United Methodist Church and the P.E.O. (Philanthrophic Education Organization) in Albion.
She was predeceased by a brother Frank Walkley and a sister Glen Trembath.
She is survived by her husband Robert W. Querns, four sons and one daughter Ronald (Shirley) Querns of Maryland, Wesley (Susan) Querns of Arizona, David (Guia) Querns of California, Craig (Tammy) Querns of New York and Colleen (Michael) New of Ohio, 14 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call Monday from 2 to 4 PM and 7 to 9 PM at the Bates, Wallace & Heath Funeral Home, 38 State St., Middleport.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday at 11:00 AM at the Middleport United Methodist Church, Park Avenue, Middiddleport, NY., with the Rev. Fay Cleveland officiating.
Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery.
Memorials to the charity of one's choice would be appreciated by the family.
