Obituary of Betty E. Rocco Betty E. (Murphy) Rocco, age 86, died August 19, 2018 at Unity Hospital after a long battle with Alzheimer’s. She was born on May 6, 1932 in Holley, a daughter of the late G. William (Bill) and Marguerite (Nesbitt) Murphy. Betty lived in Holley all of her life and was a member of St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her son Paul; brother Robert Murphy and her sister Lois Dill. She is survived by her sons Donald (Linda) Rocco, Steven (Bambai) Rocco, Richard (Lisa) Rocco; brothers William (Betty) Murphy, Harold (Amy) Murphy; loving companion Thomas Jermyn; 8 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 16650 State Rte. 31 in Holley on Friday August 24th 4:00pm-7:00pm. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday at St. Mary’s Church at 10:00am. Burial in Holy Cross Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 435 E. Henrietta Rd. Rochester NY 14620.
