Obituary of Beverly Mae Scharping Mrs. Scharping was a daughter of Walter and Maude (Maynard) Goetze and was born Sept. 15, 1927 on her parents farm in Lyndonville. Raised on the farm, she was a lifetime resident of this area. She and her husband, Donald, met as young teenagers on neighboring farms and married soon after he returned from serving in the U.S. Navy during World War II. She worked at Eastman Kodak for 20 years, retiring from there in the mid-1980s. She enjoyed dancing and cooking, and she and her husband traveled extensively all over the U.S. Above all she was very loyal and loving to her family.
