Beverly Ann Stone

Obituary of Beverly Ann Stone Beverly Ann (Dawley-Olsen) Stone, age 82, passed away on February 20, 2017 at the Martin-Linsin Hospice Residence in Albion after a long illness. She was born July 7, 1934 in Barre to the late Homer and Ina (Randolph) Dawley. Beverly enjoyed playing BINGO, crocheting, playing card games, board games, crossword puzzles and was known as the “neighborhood mom”. She liked watching her old westerns and her favorite song was “Sweet Chariot”. In addition to her parents, Beverly was predeceased by her 1st husband; Gene Olsen, 2nd husband, Preston Stone Jr., siblings; Marvin, Raymond, Darwin, and Melvin Dawley. Beverly is survived by her children; Eugene Olsen, Thomas (Pauline Yashivich) Olsen, Inamarie (Tom) Kavulich, Rita (Merle) Brace, James (Loria Nottingham) Stone, Paul Stone, Paula Stone, Preston (Tina) Stone III, Sharon Nottingham, 42 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, sister, Joyce Yondo, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 21 West Ave. Albion, on Wednesday, February 22nd from 4:00-7:00pm where her funeral service will be held on Thursday at 10:00am. Interment will be held in Hillside Cemetery in Holley. Memorial contributions in Beverly’s name may be made to Hospice of Orleans, P.O. Box 489 Albion, NY 14411.
