Beverly J. Vanderwalker

Obituary of Beverly J. Vanderwalker Beverly J. Vanderwalker of Gasport entered into rest on Monday, May 25, 2015 at Medina Hospital. She was born on December 26, 1936, the daughter of the late Carl and Dorothy (Seward) Walker. Bev married Roger Vanderwalker on June 29, 1957. She lived all of her life in the Gasport area. She graduated from Royalton-Hartland Central School in l955 and in l956 she graduated from Doyle Beauty School in Buffalo. She taught the preschoolers Sunday School class at Hartland Bible Church from l964 to l994. She was a charter member of Community Fellowship Church in Johnson Creek. Bev enjoyed doing word search puzzles, spending time with her family and her cats and was a New York Yankees fan. She is survived by her husband, Rogert Vanderwalker and children, Cathy Vanderwalker of Gasport and Kenneth (Kathy) Vanderwalker of Barker. She was grandmother to Brittary (Michael) Tatu, Darrick and Elliott Vanderwalker; great-grandmother to Thomas Tatu, Stephanie Tatu, Sophia Tatu and Brooklyn Tatu. She is also survived by her brother, Roger (Late Betty) Walker of Middleport and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Family and friends may call at Community Fellowhip church, 3146 Johnson Creek Road, Middleport on Saturday, May 30, 2015 from 9:00 AM to 12:00PM with the funeral service at 12Noon at the church with Pastor Joseph A. Szalay III officiating. Burial will be at Hartland Central Cemetery.
