Beverly J. Weatherbee (Sands)

Beverly J. Weatherbee, age 84, died July 27, 2022 in the Martin Linsin Hospice Residence following a long illness.

She was born April 28, 1938 in Batavia, NY to Ellsworth and Ella (Mapes) Sands and had lived in this area most of her life.  Beverly worked as a cashier for over 25 years at SUNY Brockport.  She was an extraordinary hard worker and had a special love for animals…especially her horses.  Mrs. Weatherbee was predeceased by her husband Walter and her sister Joan Ritz.

She is survived by her son: Eric (Betty) Weatherbee of Holley, her daughters: Cindy (Bruce) Albone of Albion, Kellie Weatherbee of Holley, her grandchildren: Stephanie Dodson and Emily (Ken) Baker, Megan and Travis Weatherbee, Cassandra, Joshua and Addison Heintz, her great-grandson: Grayson as well as several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Home, 16650 State Route 31-Holley, TUESDAY AUGUST 30th from 10-12 ONLY.  Private interment in N. Byron Cemetery will be held at the convenience of the family.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: PAWS, 3371 Gaines Basin Road, Albion, NY, 14411.

The family would like to extend special thanks and love to “The Girls” at the Willows for the love and care they provided for Beverly.  Also, special thanks to the staff at Supportive Care of Orleans for all their support.
