Obituary of Bonnie L. Moore Bonnie L. Moore, age 60 of Albion, died 3/10/2017 at her residence following a long illness. She was born 9/14/1956 to Donald and Lois (Thayer) Thomas and had lived in the Medina/Albion area all of her life. Bonnie worked as a waitress for the Country Club restaurant in Medina for many years, and attended the Light of Victory Church and Alabama Full Gospel Church. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, watching TV, taking care of her beloved dog “Buddy” and adored spending time with her grandchildren. Bonnie developed a genuine love for God and was a spiritual advisor to her children. Mrs. Moore was predeceased by her parents and the loving mother who raised her, Jennie Thomas, and her grandson Demitrios Alexandris. She is survived by her daughters: Shelcy (Brian) Plueckhahn of Albion, Jewel (Jay Porter) Shingleton of SC, her brothers: Scott Walker of TX, Terrance Knowlden of PA, sisters: Andrea Hazel of OH, Deborah Forrester of Nunda, her grandchildren: Aggeliki, Evelina, Haley, Natasha, Damien, T/Jay, Julie, Joey, Brooke and Mary, 3 great grandchildren: Ayden, Cameron, and Zoey as well as several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc., 21 West Avenue-Albion, TUESDAY from 4-7 p.m. Family and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Service WEDNESDAY 11 a.m. in the Light of Victory Church, 47 Brown St., Albion, NY, 14411. Interment will be in Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Genesee/Orleans ARC, P.O. Box 439, Albion, NY, 14411.
