Obituary of Brian C. Murray Brian C. Murray, age 57, of Newfane entered into rest on Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at Niagara Hospice House surrounded by his loving family. Born October 20, 1954 in Lackawanna, he was the son of Marion (Enigan) Murray and the late Raymond Murray. Brian graduated from Iroquois Central in 1973. He married Vickie Yousett March 16, 1991 and received his Associates in Arts from NCCC in 1998, his BA in Philosophy and BA in Psychology from the University of Buffalo in 2002. Brian went on to receive his Masters in Social Work from UB in 2006. He had worked as an elevator mechanic at Gallagher Elevator in Buffalo retiring in 1995. He was a member of the Tuscarora Yacht Club, Wilson Harbor Yacht Racing Association and past instructor of Frontier Skydivers. He loved sailing and racing on his boat, “Thriller”. He is survived by his loving wife, Vicki. Dear father of: Allison and Christopher. Son of: Marion Murray of East Aurora and the late Raymond Murray. Brother of: Raymond (Peggy) Murray of Tampa, Florida, Timothy (Diane) Murray of East Aurora, John (Sandy Halpin) Murray of West Seneca, Kevin (Susan) Murray of Orchard Park and the late Thomas Murray. Son-in-law of: James and Sandra Yousett of Wilson. Brian is also survived by many brother and sister in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends. Family and friends are invited to attend visitation at the Kenneth H. Sherrie Funeral Home, 6139 East Avenue, Newfane, NY on Friday, March 23, 2012 from 1- 6 pm with the funeral service to follow at 6 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to a fund to be set up for Brian’s children’s education c/o Vicki Murray, 3006 Beebe Road, Newfane, NY 14108.
