Bruce J. Sartwell

Obituary of Bruce J. Sartwell Bruce was a 1960 graduate of Albion High School and a 1964 graduate of Cornell University where he earned his Bachelor's Degree. From 1964-1996 Bruce managed the family farm and produce business. He served on the Albion Central School Board for 11 years, three years as Vice President and one year as President. Bruce was secretary for the Black North Rod and Gun Club and was a member of the Orleans County Sportsman Federation, the National Turkey Federation and the Nature Conservancy where he was honored as the Orleans County Conservation Farmer of the year in 1998 for converting 55 acres of farmland into wildlife habitat. Bruce's family and friends will remember him as an avid sportsman who liked to hunt, fish and tell a good joke.
