Burt E. Lockwood, age 78 of North Street, died February 6, 2006 at Medina Memorial Hospital following an illness of several years. He was born December 3, 1927 in Clarendon and had lived in this area most of his life. Burt was a member of the Albion First United Methodist Church, and was a former employee of Baurn's Lab, Aitron Division of AreoJet General where he designed missiles and missile launching pads. Mr. Lockwood also worked at Barden Homes as a home, apartment, and church designer. He enjoyed woodworking and carpentry and had his own business for several years in CA.In accordance to a long-standing agreement with the University of Buffalo Medical School, Mr. Lockwood has chosen to further the advancement of Medical Science and research by making an anatomical gift.
