Obituary of C. June Fitzsimmons C. June Fitzsimmons of Medina passed away Friday June 6, 2014 at the Medina Memorial Healthcare System. Mrs. Fitzsimmons was born in Medina, NY on June 16, 1931 daughter of the late Fred and Eva (Loades) Valentine. She worked at Trek retiring in l998 and before that she worked in Admissions at Medina Memorial Hospital. She was a member of the Medina Senior Citizens and she enjoyed knitting, crocheting and reading. She was predeceased by her husband Orne Fitzsimmons in l988 and by a brother James Valentine. She is survived by a Dear Friend Juanita (Lee) Richards of Medina, five grandchildren Russell (Kelly) Duffield Jr.,, Daniel Duffield both of Medina, Richard (Cherish) Duffield of Albion, Michael (Dee) Duffield of Florida and Amy (Craig) Schrader of Medina, several great grandchildren, a friend Sue Ann Duffield of Lockport, one stepson Joseph (Lenore) Fitzsimmons of West Newton, Penna., and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call Tuesday from 12:00PM to 1:00PM at the Bates, Wallace & Heath Funeral Home, 38 State St., Middleport where funeral services will follow at 1:00PM with the Rev. Tony Aipes officiating.
