Obituary of Carl F. Hazel Barre: Carl F. Hazel, 66, passed away August 25, 2018, doing what he loved, fishing. Carl was born September 8, 1951 in Albion, a son of the late Merle and Eleanor (Muntz) Hazel. Carl was a graduate of Albion High School, class of 1970 and a former employee of Tyler Trucking in Oakfield. He served in the Army National Guard for 6 years and enjoyed hunting, fishing and horseback riding. Carl was a member of Down the Road Posse Horse Club, life member of the Barre Sportsmen Club and a past member of the Barre Fire Co. Carl will be remembered for starting a good conversation and telling stories, some of which were even true. He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Linda; daughters, Carla (Todd) Blair and Pamela (Jeffrey) Denson; grandchildren, Kaitlyn (Randy Pearl) Delamarter, Melynda (Ryan) Gibbs, Paula Hastings, Jacob Carl Delamarter and Braydon Blair; 2 great grandchildren, Liam and Avery Pearl; sister, Linda (Donald) Wilkins; brother, Kevin (Dawn) Hazel; several aunts and uncles, including Harold (Betty) Hazel and several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. There will be a Celebration of Carl’s Life on his birthday, Saturday September 8, at his home 13830 W. Barre Rd. Albion, NY starting at 3:00. (Please dress casual) Interment will be private.
