Obituary of Carmen Lee Kelley Albion: Carmen Lee Kelley went home to the Lord on November 12, 2016 with family by his side. He was born February 8, 1933 to Alfred and Marion (Cohoon) Kelley. He is survived by his wife Judith (Baehr), along with his son, Arthur Lee (Robin) Kelley, and daughter Heather (Kelley) Sharenow and sister Annette (James) Liebeck. Carmen also leaves behind four grandsons, Arthur, Matthew Kelley and Blaine, Gavin Sharenow as well as 3 granddaughters, Nicole (Josh) Bailey, Amber Kelley and Jessica Sharenow along with 3 great grandchildren Lily, Leon and Kim and his many nieces and nephews.
Carmen worked for Orleans County Nursing Home for 36 years and shortly after retirement continued to work for Walmart for another 17 years. His biggest joys in life were greeting and helping the customers at Walmart, watching and attending sporting events especially baseball, working in the garden, reading his newspaper, riding his bike and moped and camping with family.
The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 21 West Avenue, Albion, Friday from 4:00-7:00. Carmen’s Funeral Service will be held at the Albion First Baptist Church on Saturday at 12:00pm. Private interment at Mt. Albion Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Autism Society of America or Bibles for the World.
