Growing up in the Kreher family egg business Carolyn developed strong family values and work ethic. She valued education and graduated first in her Registered Nursing class at Buffalo General School of Nursing. After graduation she worked at different hospitals including Medina Memorial. She provided private duty nursing to those who were nearing end of life. Carolyn had a gift of being able to comfort others.
Carolyn and Carl with the help of their children continue to maintain a family farm market for over 60 years growing some of the best corn and strawberries in WNY. She often could be seen waiting on customers as recently as this past summer.
Carolyn’s first priority has always been her family and they knew it. She always put them first. Her five children and husband were well loved and truly blessed to have had such a wonderful mother.
There will be a private funeral for family at the Bates, Wallace & Heath Funeral Home in Middleport New York.
In lieu of flowers please send memorials to Catholic Charities or to the Activities Department at the Orchard Nursing home in Medina NY.
