Carolyn A. Sisson

Albion: Carolyn A. Sisson, age 84, passed away April 22, 2023. She was born July 19, 1938 in Albion to the late Frank and Angeline (Borello) DeCarlo, Jr.

Carolyn enjoyed tending to her flowers, working around the house and doing embroidery. She and John enjoyed going on trips and eating at the Village House.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers, Francis and Edward DeCarlo.

Carolyn is survived by her loving husband of 45 years John, sister Sharon DeCarlo, sisters and brothers-in-law, Joan DeCarlo, Linda (Mark) Johnson, James (Robin) Sisson, Donald Sisson, David Sisson, Thomas Sisson, niece Dione, great-niece Megan, special friends, Tina, Janine, Sheila, special family cat friend, Sabrina and many cousins.

Carolyn’s family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Home 21 West Ave. Albion, NY 14411 on Monday, May 8th from 1:00-3:00pm. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph’s Church-Holy Family Parish, W. Park St. Albion, NY 14411 on Tuesday, May 9th at 10:00am. Interment will be held in Holy Cross Cemetery in Holley.

Memorials in Carolyn’s name may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association 225 N. Michigan Ave., Fl. 17, Chicago, IL 60601.
