Obituary of Catina Jackson Albion: Catina L. Jackson age 60, died April 8, 2014 surrounded by her loved ones at the Cleveland Clinic. She was born November 18, 1953 in Pittsburgh PA, a daughter of the late Dirk and Agnes (Chirieleison) Rabenold. Catina had lived in this area since 1979 and was a member of Holy Family Parish. She was a volunteer at Michael Napoleone Childhood Cancer Foundation in Batavia. Catina was an avid supporter of Organ Donation, having been a recipient of a double lung transplant in 2005 at the Cleveland Clinic.
She is survived by her husband Harry, of 38 years; daughters, Katherine (Jaime) Brade of Batavia, Michelle (Andrew) Brand of Lehigh Valley, PA; grandchildren, Aiden Brand and Brianna Brade; she was the oldest of 7 children and is survived by her siblings, Dirk (Robin) Rabenold, Loraine (Jeffrey) Yates, Gregory (Laura) Rabenold, Susan (Benjamin) Swanson, Michelle (Robert) Maloney, Gary (Nancy) Rabenold; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins.
The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 21 W. Avenue, Albion, Friday from 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00. Catina's Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Family Parish (St. Joseph's Church) W. Park St. Saturday at 11:00am. Interment will be in Mt. Albion Cemetery.
