Obituary of Celia Keeler Celia D. Keeler, age 106 of Route 31, Albion passed away on Thursday, June 5, 2014. Born in Albion on August 16, 1907, a daughter of Michael and Julia Duffy Donovan, she was a life-long resident. Cel was a graduate of the Rochester Business Institute and worked at the Citizens Bank until it closed. She served as Clerk of the Board of Orleans County Supervisors. Together with her late husband, Henry, they started Keeler Construction Co. where she served as Secretary/Treasurer until her retirement. She was active in a number of community organizations having served as Treasurer of the Board of the Arnold Gregory Memorial Hospital and its Association of Twigs. She served on the Board of the Charles W. Howard Santa Claus School and as a Grey Lady with the American Red Cross. She was a founding member of the Young Women's Service Club and the Garrett Club. In addition to her husband, Henry, she was predeceased by her son, James Keeler and grandson, Paul J. Keeler. She is survived by her daughter, Mary Kuhn and daughter-in-law, Patricia Keeler of Albion; grandchildren, Mark Keeler and Thomas Keeler of Albion, David Kuhn and John Kuhn of Hoboken, New Jersey, James Kuhn of Spencerport, New York, Julia Wamp of Skaneateles, New York and Sarah Daniels of Tacoma, Washington, nineteen great-grandchildren, a sister, Elizabeth Donovan of Enterprise, Florida, a niece and nephews. There will be no calling hours. She was a lifetime communicant of St. Joseph's Church, Holy Family Parish where a Celebration of Her Life will be held on Monday, June 9, 2014 at 9:30. Burial will be private. Memorial may be made to a charity of choice. Visitation
