Obituary of Charlene A. Hollinger (ALBION)
Charlene A. Hollinger, age 79, formerly of Oak Orchard Estates, died 8/5/2016 in The Villages of Orleans. She was born 11/18/1936 in Albion to Charles and Rose (Monico) Restivo and had been a lifetime resident of this area. Charlene was a member of Holy Family Parish, the Catholic Daughters and enjoyed many hobbies including knitting, doing word-search puzzles, playing BINGO and going to casinos. She also served as an Election Inspector in Carlton for many years and was known for making homemade candy and for her homemade sauce and meatballs on Sundays. She was a sweet, kind person to be around and was extremely family-oriented. Mrs. Hollinger was predeceased by her husband: Kenneth, son: Steve, brother: Angelo Restivo, and sister: Rose Preston. She is survived by her children: James Hollinger, Lori Hollinger, Lynda (Bernard) Moore and Tina Mead, all of Albion, her grandchildren: Brian Kurzawski, Lyndsay Moore, Jake Hollinger, Jared Hollinger, Leah Mead, Eric Mead, great grand daughter: Annalyse Morici as well as several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 21 West Avenue-Albion, TUESDAY from 12-1 p.m. where her Memorial Service will be held at 1 p.m. immediately following visitation. Interment will follow in Sandy Creek Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice of Orleans, P.O.
