Lyndonville: Charlene Keihl, age 68 passed away on September 15, 2023. She was born November 26, 1954 in Buffalo to the late Edwin and Mary (Pinelli) Richards.

Charlene was always taking care of the plants she had growing inside and outside the house, even recruiting her family members to help take care of them. She worked for over 45 years at Bernzomatic before she retired. Charlene loved crafting, crocheting, camping and going for early morning walks on the beach when the family would travel to North Carolina. She had many friends and will be deeply missed by her family.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her son Edwin John Richards, and brother Jim Colosi.

Charlene is survived by her loving and faithful husband of over 40 years, Michael Keihl, son Richard Keihl, 6 grandchildren, sister Mary (Late Pete) Kenny, brother Russell (Theresa) Colosi, sister-in-law Adrienne Colosi as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Charlene’s family will receive friends at the Bates, Wallace & Heath Funeral Home 38 State St. Middleport, NY 14105 on Wednesday, September 20th from 3:00-7:00pm. A private graveside service will be held at Boxwood Cemetery in Medina at a later date.
