Obituary of Charles Cone (HOLLEY)
Charles E. Cone, age 82 of Sunset Drive, died 4/1/2014 at his residence. He was born 4/5/1931 in Canaseraga, NY to Floyd and Frances(Morris)Cone and had lived in this area his entire life. Charles worked as a production worker at Stromberg-Carlson in Rochester as well as being an auto mechanic and a longtime musician. He was a survivor of Polio and had lived with illness and associated disabilities since the age of 6 months. One of his greatest joys in life was to use and communicate on CB Radios. Mr. Cone was predeceased by his wife of 52 years Betty, his daughter: Donna M. Cone-Smith, his brother: Jerry Cone, and sisters: Betty Brown, Frances Campbell, and Vivian Yacono. He is survived by daughter: Deborha Jean(Michael Costello)Bailey of Holley, his brother: Floyd "Sonny" Cone Jr. of Olean, sisters: Patricia Costello of Greece, Shirley Rawlings of AZ, and grandchildren: Russell Volta, Jr., Bridget Volta, Shane C. Smith, Jacob T. Bailey, Emily Bailey and James Sharp. There are no prior calling hours. Services will be held at the convenience of the family and will be announced at a later date. Arrangements were made by Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. of Holley. Visitation
