Charles "Charlie" Daniels

Obituary of Charles "Charlie" Daniels Albion: Charles “Charlie” E. Daniels, age 81, passed away on June 17, 2017. He was born on November 17, 1935 in West Virginia to the late Everett and Rose (Gibson) Daniels. Charlie was always a very active man, spending time riding motorcycles, tinkering in his garage and always around antique cars. He was active with the Crusaders Motorcycle Club in Medina. He and his late wife Bug visited 49 U.S. States, including Alaska, to which they rode to on a motorcycle. When he was able, he enjoyed going to car cruise ins as well. Charlie was a member of F&AM Renovation Lodge 97 in Albion for many years. Charlie and his wife hosted many exchange students over the years and touching many lives in the process. He loved watching his great-grandson play baseball in the summer. Charlie was predeceased by his wife Muriel “Bug” in 2016, son Ronald Daniels, great-granddaughter MacKenzie and brother Danny. Charlie is survived by his daughter, Evie (Ed) Morton of Albion, siblings, Roy Daniels of Waterport, Raymont (Marie) Daniels of Waterport, his sisters: Rose (Frank) Uttaro of Rochester, Betty (Ernie) Loss of Barre, Mary (Bob) Mullins of Albion, grandchildren, Jacob (Megan) Morton, Heather (Pete) Saeva, great-grandchildren, Mason Bennett, Adalynn Saeva, several nieces, nephews, cousins and many extended non-biological children. There are no prior calling hours. A Memorial Service to celebrate Charlie’s life will be held on Friday, June 23rd at 6:00pm at East Shelby Community Bible Church, 5278 East Shelby Rd.
