Charles Edward Miller

Albion, formerly of Rochester: Charles E. Miller, age 77, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes on March 10, 2025. He was born January 25, 1948, in Brookville, PA to the late Victor and Martha (Miles) Miller.

Charles worked as a social worker for DePaul Developmental Services in Rochester, NY for many years. Charles enjoyed reading, going out to breakfast and lunch and taking his beloved dog Oskar for walks. He was loved and respected by countless people who knew him and will be fondly remembered.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his siblings, Norma (Robert) Wright, Victor (Ruby) Miller, Bess (Jesse) Wainwright, Thomas (Florene and Irma Jean) Miller.

Charles is survived by his daughter Stephanie (Philip) Pickering; granddaughters Rebecca and Danielle Pickering; sister Cheryl (Paul) Harper; mother of Stephanie, Marchia Miller; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A celebration of Charles’ life will be announced at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Charles’ name may be made to the International Association of Suicide Prevention or the Rochester Victory Alliance.

Charles’ arrangements have been entrusted to the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Home of Albion, NY.
