Charles E. Moy

Obituary of Charles E. Moy Barre, NY: Charles E. “Charlie” Moy, age 76, passed away on December 31, 2016. He was born February 15, 1940 in Clarendon to the late Everett “Doc” and Lillian (Dietrich) Moy and would remain in the Clarendon area until 2001, when he moved to Barre. Charlie was a former member of the following organizations, Clarendon Lions Club, Clarendon Fire Co., and associate member of the Barre Fire Co. and active fisherman. He loved his grandchildren dearly and was very proud of them. Charlie is survived by his wife Maura Curtis-Moy, children, Terri Shergill, David (Heather) Moy, Kevin (Angela) Curtis, Lee (Dawn) Curtis, Jeff Diedrick, brothers, Richard (Sandra) Moy, Ronald (Carol) Moy, grandchildren, Autumn, David, Dawson, Ashley, Jeffery, Tyler, Ruby, Brooke, Ashley, Renee, Michaela, Emma, Luke, great-grandchildren, Talon, Elena, many nieces, nephews and extended family. Charlie’s Memorial service will be held at the Oak Orchard Assembly of God Church, 12111 Ridge Rd. Medina, NY 14103 on Thursday, January 5, 2017 at 10:00am. Interment will follow in Mt. Albion Cemetery. Memorial contributions in Charlie's name may be made to the church.
