Obituary of Charlie Griffin Lyndonville, NY: Charlie Griffin, age 75, went home to the Lord on December 9, 2016. He was born on March 30, 1941 to the late Elizabeth and George Griffin. He came to Fancher, NY in 1964, where he worked for Frank Sakelly. Later, he would work at A&P Products, where he eventually became unable to work and moved in with his sister Minnie Holt until his passing. Charlie loved cooking and going to garage sales in his spare time. His favorite song to listen to was “Rough Side of the Mountain”. He loved when his family came to visit. He would cook for them and talk about the old days. He was predeceased by his sisters; Corine, Virginia, Polly, and Georgia Lee, and brother; Fred Griffin. Charlie leaves to mourn, sisters; Ruthie B. of Clayton, AL, Queen, Emmie (Clay), both of Medina, NY, Minnie of Lyndonville, NY, Lillian of Rochester, NY, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 21 West Ave. Albion, NY on Thursday December 15th from 10:00-11:00am. His Funeral service will be held immediately following at 11:00am. Interment will be held in Mt. Albion Cemetery.
