Obituary of Charlotte Anne Baker Charlotte Anne (Endy) Baker, age 88, entered into rest on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at Niagara Hospice in Lockport surrounded by her loving family. Born August 2, 1929 in Tamaqua, PA, Charlotte is the daughter of: Charles and Anna “Nance” (Kloss) Endy. Charlotte was a 1951 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania with a degree in Nursing. She married William John Baker on October 11, 1952 and moved to Lockport, NY where they raised their family. Mr. Baker died February 12, 2007. Charlotte worked part time at Lockport Memorial Hospital and was a past president of the Board of Directors for the YWCA of Niagara while also volunteering for several civic organizations. She was a member of the Warrens Corners United Methodist Church and past member of the Mom’s Auxiliary for Boy Scout Troop 40. She enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling the country with Bill, reading and sewing. Surviving Charlotte are her children: Sandy (Daniel) Hopkins, Nancy (Timothy) Smith, Barbara (Ron) MacLean, Charles (Valerie) Baker; grandchildren: Daniel (Yuiko Koizumi) Hopkins Jr., Kerri Hopkins, Megan MacLean, Charles Baker Jr., Chase Baker and Connor Baker. She was predeceased by her husband: Bill and daughters: Anne E. and Carolyn J. Baker. Family and friends are invited to attend visitation at the Kenneth H. Sherrie Funeral Home, 6139 East Avenue, Newfane, on Friday, February 16, 2018 from 4-8 pm. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at 10 am from the funeral home. Interment will be in North Ridge Cemetery, Cambria, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to Warrens Corners United Methodist Church or Niagara Hospice.
