Chris A. Mathes

Obituary of Chris A. Mathes Albion: Chris A. Mathes age 55, died March 12, 2014 at the Buffalo Veterans Hospital following a short illness. He was born August 21, 1958 in Albion a son of Raymond and Alice (Staines) Mathes. Chris was a self employed carpenter for several years and then worked at the Iroquois Job Corps in Medina. He was a member of the Medina Masons Lodge 336. Chris served in the United States Air Force from 1979-1985.
He was predeceased by his father, Raymond and his brother, Craig.
He is survived by his son, Timothy Mathes of Medina; his mother, Alice Mathes of SC; siblings, Carl Mathes of Irondequoit, Cheryl (Norman) Gagne of SC., Colleen Waver of Rochester; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins.
The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Home, Inc. 21 W. Avenue, ALBION, Saturday April 5, from 11:00-1:00, where his Memorial Service will follow at 1:00. Interment will be in Mt. Albion Cemetery with Military Honors. Memorials may be made to the National Kidney Foundation 30 East 33rd St. New York, NY 10016. Visitation
