Obituary of Clarence C Becker Carlton- Clarence C. Becker "Whitey", 82, passed away on Thursday, December 29, 2011 at Orchard Manor after a long illness. He was born in Cleveland, Ohio a son of Howard and Frances Becker and has lived in this area most of his life. He was employed by TJ Lipton Company as Supervisor for many years before retiring. He was a member of the Medina Moose Lodge, Orleans County Radio Club, a Cub Scout Master, Orleans County Sheriff's Auxiliary. He enjoyed woodworking, gardening, and being a HAM operator. He is survived by Children, Cheryl (the late Bruce) Wright of Albion, John A (Sue) Weits Sr. of Churchville, Wilma Becker of Albion, Wallace (Vicki) Becker of Lyndonville, Deborah (Ronald) Spanton of Virginia and Kathleen (Daniel) Smith of Waterport, Duane Becker of Kent; 14 Grandchildren and 30 Great Grandchildren; Sisters, Evelyn Fergen and Edna Thomas both of Rochester; Daughter-In-Law, Diane Becker of Waterport; Sister-In-Law, Maryanne Becker. He was predeceased by Wilma, his wife of 56 years; Son, Howard Becker Sr; Great-Granddaughter Kerstin Brien; Brother, Leslie Becker and Sister, Marjorie Mele. Family and friends are invited to call on Tuesday, January 3, 2012 from 12-1:30pm at the Merrill-Grinnell Funeral Home, 12 Ingersoll St., Albion where services will immediately follow at 1:30pm. Interment in Waterport Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Carlton Fire Department.
