Obituary of Clayton W. Carter Carlton: Clayton W. Carter “Tubby”, passed away peacefully on January 3, 2017 at his home. He was a U.S. Marine Veteran serving from 1970-73, and worked at General Motors for many years until he retired in 2006. Clayton loved building and flying RC planes, riding his motorcycle and going to car shows with his buddies. He was a member of the Pine Hill Raiders, Veteran Bikers Motorcycle Club and Village House Coffee Club. His family and friends meant the world to him, and would do anything to help someone out. He was predeceased by his parents, Sherwood (Margaret) Carter, and his beloved dog Mugsy. Clayton is survived by his daughters, Laurie Froman and Sherrie Carter both of Albion; brothers, Delvin (Karen) Carter of PA, Darvin Carter of Albion; grandchildren, Chadd Froman, Shane Froman, Spencer Burton; great-grandchildren, Kaiden and Luna; dear friends, Ellen (Larry) Hering, Louise (Mario) Mana; nieces, nephews as well as many friends and family. A celebration of Clayton’s life will be from 2:00-4:00pm on Saturday, January 7, 2017 at Pine Hill Airport 4906 Pine Hill Rd. Barre Center, where military honors will immediately follow at 4:00pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The New York State Veterans Home, 220 Richmond Ave., Batavia, NY 14020.
