Clayton G. “Greg” Fletcher, age 71, died December 18, 2024 in Strong Memorial Hospital following a brief illness. He was born March 8, 1953 in Albion to Clayton and Geraldine (Felstead) Fletcher and was a life-long resident of this area.
Greg had managed Cornucopia Farms (now Circle R) for many years prior to working at Eagle Harbor Sand and Gravel. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, loved to hunt, gardening, racing motorcycles on Culvert Road in his younger years and baking pies. Greg also cut and sold firewood, and was an avid Buffalo Bills and NY Yankees Fan. Mr. Fletcher was predeceased by his best friend and wife Susanne Whittier a brother Keith Fletcher and a step son Scott.
He is survived by his children: Mike (Tammy) Fletcher of Middleport, Chad Fletcher of CO, Steve (Steph) Fletcher of Lyndonville, his step-children: Kevin (Sarah) Whittier, Rene Whittier, 6 siblings: Linda (Ken) Lonnen of Albion, Laurie (Ron) Schlegel of Medina, Lee (Connie) Fletcher of Lyndonville, Karen (Tony) Ricci of Lyndonville, Jeanne Bale of Knowlesville, Jody (Tom) Pawlik of IN, 11 grandchildren: Taylor, Shawn, Travis, Jenna, Bradyn, Sawyer, Hannah, Caleb, Reyli, Ella, Jaxon, his great granddaughter: Rayleigh as well as several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Home, 21 West Avenue-Albion, on SUNDAY JANUARY 5, 2025 from 11am-1pm only. Burial in West Kendall Cemetery will be held at the convenience of the family.
