Obituary of Cleda M. (Persia) D'Andrea Albion: Cleda M. D’Andrea, 102, died October 27, 2016. She was born February 27, 1914 in Brockville a daughter of the late Paul and Ernestine (DiLaura) Persia. Cleda lived in Brockville and Albion all of her life and was a member of Holy Family Parish-St. Joseph’s Church. She married Jerry D’Andrea on May 4, 1946 at St. Mary’s Church in Holley and in 1956, Cleda and Jerry opened The Family Shoe Store on East Bank St. in Albion and ran that until 1976.
She was predeceased by her husband Jerry; son-in-law, Thomas Tompson; and grandson, Robert Thomas Thompson. She is survived by her daughter, Anita Thompson of Fairport, son, Peter D’Andrea of Albion; grandson, Charles Thompson of Brighton; and several nieces and nephews.
There will be no prior calling hours. Family and friends are invited to attend Cleda’s Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Family Parish-St. Joseph’s Church, Thursday November 17, at 11:00am. Interment will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or St. Joseph’s Church.
