Conrad Platek

Obituary of Conrad Platek (Albion) Conrad M. Platek age 78 died peacefully January 24, 2015 at Unity Hospital. He was born February 25, 1936 in Buffalo, a son of the late Michael and Cecilia (Wujek) Platek and had lived in this area most of his life. Conrad enjoyed woodworking, gardening and loved hanging out with his dog and best friend Jack. He was predeceased by his wife Marlene in 2001 and brothers and sisters. He is survived by his sons Christopher (LaTosha) of Rochester, Clifford (Kathleen) of Batavia, Paul (Denise) of Rochester, Michael (Omar) of FL; grandchildren Anthony and Kassandra; brother Ted of Pavillion; sister Delphine Schiavetta of Long Island; close friends Scott and Toni Bradshaw; several nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 21 W. Ave. Albion Wednesday 4-8. His Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday at 10:00am at Holy Family Parish/St. Joseph's Church. Burial in Mt. Albion Cemetery with Full Military Honors. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lollypop Farm Humane Society of Greater Rochester, 99 Victor Rd. Fairport NY 14450. Visitation
