OBITUARY  NOTICE

Contance R. “Connie” Corke, age 64, died unexpectedly in her home June 17, 2022.  She was born March 23, 1958 in Albion to Arnold and Irene (Brown) Taylor and was a life-long resident of this area.

Connie was a 25+ year member of the Barre Fire Company and the Ladies Auxiliary having held the office of Vice President on several occasions.  She was also a former driver for COVA, served as an Orleans County Auxiliary Police Officer, and worked as a Home Health Aide for CDR.  Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband of 44 years Larry, her son: Shawn (Melissa) Corke of Albion, her daughter: Stephanie Corke of Albion, her grandchildren: Olivia, Callen, Dallas, Lilliana, Rylee as well as several brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, 21 West Avenue-Albion, THURSDAY from 6-8 followed by a closing prayer at 8 PM.  Her interment will take place privately at the convenience of the family.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Barre Fire Co., 4709 Oak Orchard Rd., Albion, NY, 14411.  To share a special memory of Connie, please visit: www.mitchellfamilyfuneralhomes.com
