Obituary of Coral Louise Newman Coral Louise Newman, age 54, of Newfane, went to be with the Lord suddenly Friday, October 21, 2011 at Eastern Niagara Hospital at Newfane. Born July 6, 1957 in Medina, she was the daughter of Annette Mottorn and Ronald Newman. Coral graduated from Barker Central School in 1976. She had worked as a home care aide for many years. She loved playing bingo, reading and jigsaw puzzles. Coral was baptized and confirmed at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Lyndonville. She is survived by her mother, Annette (Howard) Mottorn of Barker and father, Ronald K. Newman of Middleport. Very dear friend of Robert DuBois of Newfane. Coral was predeceased in death by her brother, Gordon S. Newman of Illinois on August 4, 2011. Sister-in-law, Valarie Newman of Illinois and half sister Debbie Newman of Barker and half-brother, Ronald Newman, Jr. of Appleton, one niece and two nephews also survive her. There will be a memorial service at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Route 18, Lyndonville, NY on Saturday, November 12, 2011 at 2:00 pm. A reception will follow. There will be no prior visitation. Arrangements entrusted to the Kenneth H. Sherrie Funeral Home, Newfane, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to a charity of one’s choice.
